The practice in Judaism I thought was interesting is Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Bar Mitzvah means son or daughter of the commandments. When this appends the boy or girl is responsible for their own religious behavior. I think that this is important because they are becoming responsible for themselves and they really get to know their religion.

I think the one that impressed me the most is the Passover. I think it's pretty cool how they do the Seder meal. I like how they read scriptures and things like that.
I also like the Bar Mitvahs because it could help many children of the religion learn more about Judaism. Those are the practices that impressed me the most.

I think the Judaism truditions are very interesting. I think the family trudition is cool because you have something to look forward to. and will be with your family. Also I think that the passpover is interesting because you learn a song that is passed down forever and will continue.

I think this religion was some what like ours.
It has alot of things alike
But alot different.

If i was an orthodox Jew it would be very interesting because they have many rituals and traditions.
What I liked about this religion was that when a girl turned 13 and a girl turned 12 the had a bar or bat mitzvah. :]

It impressed me because of all the trediations. The one I found most interesting was the passover meal. I thought it was cool that what they eat represents what the jews went through. I also liked how on Friday and Saterday they ate togather and talked about there beliefs. I really liked learning about this Religion.

Most of the beliefs that Jews practice, such as the Ten Comandments, are the same as us Christians also practice. One belief that most iterested me was how they have to eat. Most of the families gather every friday and have a big dinner! The meat they cook must be cooked specially so that there is absolutely no blood left in it. They also can't have dairy products such as milk and cheese with the same meal. For me, it would be very hard to practice this religion because i am a big eater =] This religion is very interesting in many ways.

I am impressed on the fact that they still practice of using kosher foods according to the Torah for many generations.

The practice of Bar and Bat Mitzvah, meaning son or daughter of the commandments, in Judaism impresses me the most because the Jewish children know they have more responsibilities and take it very seriously. Becoming Bar or Bat Mitzvah means they also have to follow all of the commandments or mitzvat of Judaism. I would like to actually go to a Bar or Bat Mitzvah and ask about what they feel like they are going through in this process. It takes years of studying and it is a big milestone in a Jewish person's life. I think it is great that they can feel like a part of the church and that they are responsible for their own religious behaviors.

All religions have faults. However, this seeems to draw on the other two major religions. I admire their independence, and the fact that they have so determinedly stuck to their traditions through the ages. They are humane and polite. If their is one fault, it would be all of the traditions.

I think I was most impressed with the boys and girls who have bar and bat mitzvahs. I know that they have to learn another language and that language would be hebrew. They have part's but thats not what it's about! I think that that would be a wonderful experience!

I think that the fact that some Jewish people practice kosher whech means they have to have their meat inspected by a Rabbi. So they can't have fast food or sometimes maybe even nice restraunt food can be off limits. This part of Jewish life would be very difficult.

I believe that the commitment that many Jews show means that they are very passion it about their religion. With all the commitments and laws that they follow it would be very difficult for me to be a Jew. The sabbath would be very hard to follow.

The practice of Bar and Bat
Mitzvah impresses me the most in Judaism. It impresses me because all the children have to be very dedicated to Judaism. They go through years of studying and learn all the Jewish laws. Once they have become Bar or Bat Mitzvah, they have to follow all those laws and be responsible for their own religious beliefs. I think this is a great way to welcome someone into Judaism.

Dear anonymous,
I agree with you that the Jewish people show a lot of commitment to their religion. I also agree that it would be difficult to follow so many laws and traditions of the Jewish people. I think the way they follow kashrut is impressive also. I think that having to follow laws about what and how you eat and making sure your meal was koshur would be difficult to do.

I am impressed at the Jewish way of being able to see God as someone who cares about them and is active in their history of their people. I love the message of the prophets, the way they describe God and the expectations they set out for how we should care for the least among us. I like the way many important celebrations, like the Sabbath and Passover, take place in a family setting. I think this gives the family a really strong part to play in this religion.

cg, I think we have to be careful about calling something a "fault" of this religion, because tradition could definitely be regarded as a strength as well. Perhaps you meant it would be something that would be difficult to put into practice? or maybe you meant incorporating so much tradition in a religion puts it out of touch with the modern world? Explain, I am curious.

To bw:
I think that it is important for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah to take place, but they would only become adults if they were deemed responsible enough and if they were well educated about there religion. However, I think you made a good point.

I agree with J.G:
I think that it is important to have bar/bat mitzvahs.
It shows the importance of coming of age. I think J.G made a good point.

The practice that most impressed me was the bar mitzvah for boys and the bat mitzvah for girls. when they become age thirteen they have have a huge party saying that they must know participate in the church. i think that this is important because it tells a child when he or she should start to help the church and it makes you feal older and more responsible.
